My Top Five Make-up Brushes.

Here's a quick post on my top five make-up brushes, I'm a bit of a brush fiend really, and I'm starting to get a big collection. This does however make me quite picky about what I do use. 

I prefer synthetic fibre brushes simply because they are SO much easier to clean, Make-up tends to cling to natural fibre brushes and it really winds me up. 

First off is an eco tools blush brush, I got this so long ago and that's part of the reason it's in my top five. It's a good quality brush, easy to clean, and soooooo soft! It's made from natural recycled materials so guilt free beauty (always a plus). I've only ever used this with powder blushes; but I know there is a larger version for powder. It would be a great investment for anyone who's new to makeup.

Next up is a brush from Urban Decay I only have a couple of their brushes and I've been impressed so far. It's called the Good Karma brush, which it does live up to it's name, great for packing on shadow and it's made from recycled PET plastic so animal cruelty free.

I was so impressed with Samantha Chapman's Real Techniques brushes when they finally arrived in Boot's stores that two have made it into my top five! This is the buffing brush from the Core Face Collection, I use this to powder my foundation but it can be used for all sorts, including use with mineral foundation. It is very similar to the mineral powder brush from Sephora and it was a toss up of which would make it in. But this is a lot softer and much more easy to clean as it is synthetic fibres.

Secondly from the Real Techniques line is this Stippling brush, which does what it says on the tin really. It's great for stippling and blending foundations into the skin, mine is slightly stained because I used it with my double wear and didn't clean it straight away (big mistake)! But never the less it works perfectly with Rimmel's Wake me up foundation. I prefer a stippling brush for this as it helps my foundation blend and look more natural and less 'cakey'.

Finally an oldie but a definite goodie. This is a MAC 190 brush which I've had for ages, this was the first high end brush I ever bought when I was about 13, so it's lasted a good 6 years and is still going strong. Sometimes I think you can't beat a good quality foundation brush to apply your foundation, and this works really well when applying my double wear. If your looking to splurge on a brush this would definitely be my reccomendation as I have no negatives.

This brush I think is made from natural fibres (animal hair) so some may not buy this for personal reasons.
